Fiberglass Reinforced Silicone Sheet
Reinforced Silicone offers dimensional stability to a very elastic rubber product. By adding a thin ply of fiberglass, the end product has a much higher tensile strength and offers dimensional stability in your seal.
Stigall offers two grades of Fiberglass Reinforced Silicone Sheet:
- Commercial Grade: 60 Durometer with 1 or 2 plies of Fiberglass depending on the thickness. 1/32", 1/16", and 1/8" all have 1 ply of fiberglass, and the 1/4" is reinforced with 2 plies. This product line can be made in 36" & 48" widths.
- Specification Grade: Is available in three thicknesses, and was developed to meet AMS 3320. Consequently, 3320 has lubricating oil resistance and excellent compression set resistance. Stigall AMS 3320 product line, has been independently tested and approved by ARDL (Akron Rubber Development Laboratory)
AMS 3320 is available in 1/16", 3/32", and 1/8" available in 36" only.
