"ETP" Viton® Extreme
Viton® Extreme ETP is manufactured using Advanced Polymer Architecture (APA) technology. Viton™ Extreme ETP has 67% fluorine content and is composed of ethylene perfluoro-methyl vinyl ether (PMVE) and tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) with a peroxide cure site monomer.
In addition to the high-temperature resistance, Viton™ Extreme ETP offers excellent protection to acids, hydrocarbons, esters, ketones, aldehydes, and high pH fluids. Viton™ Extreme ETP is used in highly demanding applications requiring exceptional chemical and high-temperature resistance.
VIT-1675 is the most expensive Viton finished good available. VIT-1675 is always a custom run product due to the expense of raw materials. Many times molding the gasket / seal is more cost effective than supplying a molded sheet.
